What can Umbrella Sleeve be inserted into?
Umbrella Sleeve can be inserted into a pool side anchor that typically is used for umbrella poles or volleyball nets. It can also be inserted into an umbrella base. Please use this link to view typical anchor dimensions to be used with Umbrella Sleeve.
What diameter does your umbrella lower pole have to be to use Umbrella Sleeve?
We are currently stocking Umbrella Sleeves that fit 1.5" diameter umbrella poles.
How to assemble an Umbrella Sleeve?
For assembly, slide the gasket halfway onto the outside of the open end of the Umbrella Sleeve, leaving the other half hanging off. Next, insert the lower umbrella pole through the gasket and into the Umbrella Sleeve until it rests at the bottom. Helpful Tip - For ease of sliding the lower umbrella pole into the Umbrella Sleeve use a dash of water to lubricate the gasket.
Does Umbrella Sleeve help to keep the umbrella in place?
Yes, the Umbrella Sleeve is designed to keep your umbrella firmly in place. Whether you’re using a base or an in-ground anchor, it adds stability and helps minimize movement—especially in windy conditions.
How does Umbrella Sleeve stay watertight?
By using a watertight gasket supplied with the sleeve or it can be purchased individually.
What if Umbrella Sleeve starts to have surface rust?
Surface rust is typical for stainless steel. If you start to see surface rust use white or gray Scotch-Brite™ pads—non-abrasive and safe for stainless steel. For added protection you can use a clear silicone-based protectant or marine-grade stainless polish (like Flitz or Boeshield T-9)
What materials of construction can Umbrella Sleeve be made out of?
We are currently stocking sleeves manufactured out of 304 stainless steel.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes, you can order a custom size depending on quantity.
Can I use Umbrella Sleeve year round?
Of course you can, but just make sure to take the umbrella down and store somewhere safe before bad weather hits!
